We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. I can completely relate to the poem as well. I just love this entire thing.
and to answer your questions.. I took this picture in a field behind my house, but there is no lavender there, or anything purple for that matter. Oh the magic of photoshop.. if you look at my gallery, the picture I posted before this one is what the field really looks like.
